EARLY VOTING

Early voting takes place from the date 22 (unless there is a Monday holiday) days prior to election day through 5 days prior to election day. Voters may vote early in person in the State of Illinois without having an excuse by presenting a government-issued photo ID. Dates, times, and location of the early voting site are found on the home page of this website.

Newspaper publication of the early voting information will be in the Monitor and BND.

ELECTION NOTICE

April 5, 2011 Consolidated Election

Early voting will be conducted at the following temporary polling place: 8740 State Street, Suite 200, Regions Bank Bldg., East St. Louis, IL only from March 14, 2011 through March 31, 2011.

Inquiries may be made to the East St. Louis Board of Election Commissioners by phoning (618) 398-3778.

Note: The election authority must verify the applicant's identity by the applicant's presentation of an Illinois driver's license, a Secretary of State or another government issued identification document, containing the applicant's photograph.
